“Ichchha” Movie Premiere held in Kathmandu

Filmypost - Nepali movie “Iccha” to be released nationwide in May 8 has inaugurated its grand premier in Kathmandu. Iccha premier was inaugurated before four days of the release on Fcube movie of KL Tower, within the participation of film unit and media persons.

Participated praised about the movie and suggested to watch. Director Munal Ghimire says he has exposed his best experiences, gathered while working on previous two movies. Ghimire confronted from direction of this movie Iccha says loving to cast the unseen story of Nepali and Nepalese people, this movie also forecast the typical story of Nepali people.

5.5 Million Diamond Jewelry Theft from Sonam Kapoor’s Home

Filmypost - 5.5 million diamond jewellery was stolen from Mumbai Juhu of actress Sonam Kapoor the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor’s home. She filed the complaint on 5 February about the jewellery theft on Juhu Police. Though police has not got success to reveal the theft till now.

According to police, Sonam was attending party with her mom on February 4. Police officer of investigation department says she was attending party with all those jewellery.

This jewellery was given for advertisement which she had to return back on next day. The police informed continued investigation on this subject to Indian journalist.

Death of sound Indian comedy legend

Filmypost - 63 years old, well known south Indian comedian M.S Narayan took his last breath on this Friday morning. Doctors have stated that body mechanism failure led him to death.

Earlier he was diagnosed with malaria. He was kept in ventilator for two day. Right after being admitted in the hospital, his kidney failed and was taken for dialysis. Even in the critical stage, medicines had been working on him.

He was rewarded with Nandi awards for 5 times by the Andrapradesh government. He has a son and a daughter. He had acted in seven hundred and 90 movies.

Filmypost - Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, starring in the movie Baby, sounds Muslim antipathy that Pakistan has barred the display. Censor Board of Slamavada and Karamcile has barred this movie because of anti-Muslim theme.

Board has refused to allow the display. Board –“ If the movie has demonstrated negative image of movie then the negative role of Muslims is also casted by the movie”. In Pakistan, Islamabad and other various parts, including the inhabitants of the city, selling activity of CD and DVD are also blocked.

However, director Niraj Pandey said there is no any anti-Muslims activity demonstrated in the movie.

“Iccha” delayed release date moved to more profit

Filmypost - Nepali movie “Iccha” releasing date was moved from January 2 to February 8 which turns to more profit says director Munal Ghimire. Due to upcoming constitution, strikes and protest made “Iccha” to delay the release, though it was advantageous from all sort says Munal Ghimire.

Munal says ”it was very advantageous when date was delayed. Strikes was strectching. It was very cold temperature, which make low viewer appearance at morning and evening shows but now there is no more strikes and cold temperature. For the goodness of movie the day of release was delayed feels munal”.

Promotion of the movie was also stopped at the last moment of the release. Munal says it has also been benefit of extended time for promotion. It has also been a type of promotion in media. We have started country wise promotion says munal.

Kathmandu International Film Festival inaugurated in Kathmandu

Filmypost - Nepal Film Society has organized second Kathmandu International Film Festival which has started on Monday. The five-day festival including 10 countries, 17 films will be shown in this film festival.

Russian Cultural Center’s senior Nepali film director BS Thapa and the first actress Bhuwan Chand of Nepali movie including Russia, Israel, South Korea, the European Union Ambassador and India, Denmark, Switzerland’s representatives had launched the Festival Collectively. Inaugurating the festival movie “Banphool” was shown directed by Nawraj Budhathoki.

As a five day festival each day one-one movie was shown including “Da.Khate ,Pal, Bhimdatta” from Nepali movie. On the day of Tuesday Nepali movie “Da.Khate” directed by Riwaj Rijal including Russia. Israel and Switzerland’s movie will be shown. Nepali movie “Bhimdatta” will be shown at the end of the day. Free entrance is provided for the festival.
