Filmypost - Nepal Film Society has organized second Kathmandu International Film Festival which has started on Monday. The five-day festival including 10 countries, 17 films will be shown in this film festival.Russian Cultural Center’s senior Nepali film director BS Thapa and the first actress Bhuwan Chand of Nepali movie including Russia, Israel, South Korea, the European Union Ambassador and India, Denmark, Switzerland’s representatives had launched the Festival Collectively. Inaugurating the festival movie “Banphool” was shown directed by Nawraj Budhathoki.
As a five day festival each day one-one movie was shown including “Da.Khate ,Pal, Bhimdatta” from Nepali movie. On the day of Tuesday Nepali movie “Da.Khate” directed by Riwaj Rijal including Russia. Israel and Switzerland’s movie will be shown. Nepali movie “Bhimdatta” will be shown at the end of the day. Free entrance is provided for the festival.
